1999-11-22|Sunatori's Construction of Animals from Chromosome Pairs
You asked for it
- Has anybody determined why animals have 2 eyes but 1 mouth? My hypothesis is that since chromosomes come in pairs, there are 2 eyes, 2 arms and 2 legs. The crossed portion of the chromosome pair creates 1 mouth. The pair nature of chromosomes should be the reason for the mirror symmetry of animal bodies and having 2 main sexes (male, female).
- A method of inputting a DNA pattern to a fractal generator as parameters to the Mandelbot/Julia Set in order to draw an outline of an organism would make a great doctoral thesis with a Nobel potential!
