2015-09-30|Pediatrician explains why it's fine to let babies get dirty

Article "Childhood asthma risk affected by bacteria in early infancy" (2015-09-30) states:
The findings support the "hygiene hypothesis" of how sterilizing everything may come with a health cost in the long term. "It's fine to get dirty. It's fine to play with the dog."
Does it mean that having the children eat dog poop and lick raw chicken will not kill them but give them immunity against E. coli and Salmonella???
