Here is what I found in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper. It may be overkill to target an obituary for misuse of the title of engineer, but I believe that the best way to approach the matter is a public educational campaign by Engineers Canada (a holder of trade-mark "engineer") that only licensed professional engineers can use title "engineer" in Canada.
