To whom it may concern

• I used the Uber app to search for a ride. The Uber app first said "Confirming your ride", then "Looking for drivers nearby".

  

• Since no driver was found, the Uber app said "NO CARS AVAILABLE". I repeated the process several times until the Uber app was able to find a driver at last.

  

• In the mean time, I was shocked to receive many E-mail messages from Capital One.

  An international transaction has been charged to your account.
  We're just letting you know that an international transaction has been charged to your Capital One® Mastercard® account. April 23, 2020 UBER TRIP HELP.UBER.CO $20.00

• It turned out that the charges were "Pending" which were quickly "Cancelled" except for the last one. Please change the text of Capital One's E-mail message to add something like "This charge is merely pending." in order to prevent such confusion to Capital One's customers.

• Thank you very much for your attention.
