2023-09-28|Communauto's Plans in Different Jurisdictions

My primary Communauto membership is in QC but I also have membership in ON. When I telephoned Communauto to ask which membership (QC, ON) can be used for which jurisdiction (QC, ON) and for which service (Round0trip vehicles, FLEX vehicles), Communauto's agent pointed out that my ON plan was different from my QC plan. So, I asked her to make them consistent. She assured me that there would be no extra cost because I had already paid $500 refundable bond for my primary Communauto membership (QC).
Yet, Communauto ON sent me the following message.

PLAN CHANGE REQUEST RECEIVED

Please remember, if you opted into a Value plan, the $500 refundable bond will be applied in two installments of $250 on your next two invoices.
I immediately telephoned Communauto in panic for clarification. The same agent asked me to ignore that part of the default message. Please properly customise the message so that Communauto members would not get a heart attack.
