NOAA 3-day aurora forecast indicated that there was great probability of geomagnetic storm (G 4, Severe: Kp = 8) on 2025-06-02.

I went to bed at 21:30 and got up at 01:30, wore a winter jacket, and went aurora hunting on the nearby golf course. There was no cloud in the sky, so I stayed there for more than 1 hour. However, no aurora borealis was observed.
Instead of passively observing the sky by aurora gazing, I actively decorated the sky with LASER light beams. GREEN laser light beam reaches the sky, but RED laser light beam was visible only at a tree in the forest. Also spotted was an artificial satellite.
