To whom it may concern

I saw this e-coupon in Promotions > COFFEE > FREE medium coffee on Couche-Tard app (iOS). The promotion says "Valid until September 30, 2025".
However, there was no such e-coupon on Couche-Tard app (iOS) when I tried to use it in early August 2025. What is going on? HELP!!!

I understand your position, and I greatly appreciate your goodwill gesture!
Following your instructions, I visited a local Couche-Tard store (265, boulevard Saint-Raymond, Gatineau, QC, Canada) to use the on-line coupon before the expiry date. The employee said "PETIT" even though the coupon clearly states "CAFE FORMAT MOYEN GRATUIT". I poured MOYEN anyway because of the written evidence.
After pouring, I went back to have the coupon scanned within the time limit of 5 minutes. However, employee's scanning repeatedly failed. After 3 times, he said "PAYEZ!", but I did not comply.
I showed him the e-mail message itself, but he insisted that the particular Couche-Tard store may not count as a "participating store". A shouting match ensued. He eventually relented, but he exclaimed "C'EST LA DERNIÈRE FOIS!"
I am letting you know that I do not deserve to be treated like a criminal. It is likely the last time that I would visit any Couche-Tard store.
