I received new CIBC MasterCard with "Activate Now" in QR Code, which I immediately scanned with QR Code Scanner in iPhone's Control Centre. Then, I did Copy & Paste of my MasterCard number ("XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX") from Wallet app (iOS) into fld "Card Number" on CIBC app (iOS), but error message persisted several times.
I finally realised that removing space character (" ") made it acceptable. Please simply take numeric characters, ignoring special characters like space (" "), plus ("+"), comma (","), minus ("-"), period ("."), etc.
