0000|No-Touch Meatball Making Technique
Hamburger Disease
- Touching uncooked ground meat may cause so-called hamburger disease. It is caused by Escherichia Coli bacteria, and is potentially fatal. Raw meat is also a source of Salmonella infection.
Meatballs
- The key secret is to use an Ice Cream Scoop along with a large spoon to make meatballs.
- First, mix the ground meat in a bowl with other ingredients, according to your recipe of choice. You can then scoop the ground meat, use the spoon to pack it and shape it, then put the meatball into a deep fryer or a fry pan or a casserole, or whatever the recipe calls for. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here is the animated graphics to illustrate the technique.
